Shang-Chi dan Spider-Man: No Way Home Dapat Nominasi Oscar

Nominasi Oscar 2022 sudah diumumkan. Ada dua film superhero Marvel yang berhasil dapat nominasi. Ini kabarnya! 

1. Shang-Chi dan Spider-Man: No Way Home dapat nominasi Best Visual Effect

Kalau kamu melihat nominasi Oscar 2022, kamu akan mendapati Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings dan Spider-Man: No Way Home dalam satu kategori yaitu Best Visual Effects atau Visual Efek Terbaik.

Shang-Chi dan Spider-Man: No Way Home harus bersaing juga dengan tiga film lain yaitu Dune, Free Guy, dan No Time to Die. 

Sebelum ini, Sony Pictures dan Marvel Studio sempat mengeluarkan kampanye Oscar untuk Spider-Man: No Way Home. Kampanye itu mengincar nominasi seluruh kategori Oscar, termasuk Best Picture atau film terbaik.

Namun pada akhirnya, No Way Home hanya dapat satu nominasi.

2. Andrew Garfield dapat nominasi aktor terbaik, tapi bukan dari No Way Home

Yang menarik adalah, dalam Oscar tahun 2022 ini Andrew Garfield dapat nominasi untuk Aktor Terbaik. 

Tentu saja, nominasi ini bukan untuk peran Andrew di No Way Home. Dia mendapat nominasi ini untuk perannya yang fenomenal di film Tick, Tick … Boom!

Benedict Cumberbatch juga masuk nominasi aktor terbaik. Untuk Benedict, perannya yang membuat dia dapat nominasi Oscar tahun ini adalah dari film The Power of the Dog.

Selain Andrew Garfield dan Benedict Cumberbatch, aktor yang dapat nominasi Aktor Terbaik lain adalah Javier Bardem, Will Smith, dan Denzel Washington.
