Mega Man Legacy Collection Dikonfirmasikan Untuk PS4, XOne, PC dan 3DS!

Kalian penggemar Mega Man/ Rockman, yang mungkin belum terima jika serial game legendaris tersebut tidak ada kelanjutannya, dan masih juga belum yakin dengan betapa "kuatnya" Mighty No. 9, mungkin bisa melirik tawaran baru Capcom ini. Tawarannya sih baru, namun gamenya tetap saja lama, seperti kebiasaan port dan remaster yang mereka lakukan akhir-akhir ini.

Kemarin Capcom mengumumkan Mega Man Legacy Collection, sebuan bundel kolektor, hanya tersedia secara digital, yang berisi keenam game original Mega Man, bakal dirilis untuk PlayStation 4, Xbox One, dan PC pertengahan tahun ini, dan untuk 3DS menyusul akhir tahun nanti. Untuk keenam seri awal Mega Man tersebut, bisa kalian dapatkan dengan harga US $14.99, atau sekitar Rp. 200 ribuan.

Yang bikin mahal sepertinya tambahan modenya, Challenge Mode dan juga Museum Collection, yang mengumpulkan aset artwork serial game ini. Challenge Mode bakal me-remix gameplay dari keenam game utnuk sebuah challenge baru. Capcom sendiri hanya menaikkan tingkat kesulitannya (yang sebenarnya sudah sulit), namun sekaligus juga mengajari para pemain pemula untuk familiar dengan gaya permainan Mega Man, dan bagaimana bisa melalui area yang sulit. Sedangkan Museum Mode menjadi tempat dimana kalian menemukan art resolusi tinggi, concept art, sketsa dan banyak lagi lainnya. Selain itu, Mega Man Legacy Collection juga memiliki opsi leaderboard dan video replay, memungkinkan kalian untuk melihat replay dari pemain topnya di leaderboard.

Tentu saja game-game jadul yang sejatinya muncul di konsol 8-bit beberapa dekade lalu itu akan kelihatan antik jika dimainkan di konsol now-gen. Karena itulah, Capcom memberi embel-embel "HD finish” untuk versi PC dan konsol. Kemudian port ini juga dibangun menggunakan “Eclipse Engine,” engine baru khusus game port dan remaster buatan Digital Eclipse. Meskipiun dari trailer yang diberikan di bawah ini, sepertinya sama saja dengan versi NES-nya dulu.
