Tidak hanya cover dan toys, DC Comics Bombshells bakal ada seri komiknya sendiri!
DC Comics kembali menampilkan seri variant cover tematik. Variant cover kali ini akan bertema DC Comics Bombshells, yang akan terbit pada bulan Agustus 2015. DC Comics Bombshell adalah tema dunia DC Comics yang menyerupai pin up ataupun poster pada era Perang Dunia ke-2. Pada awalnya DC Comics Bombshells adalah seri DC Collectible toys yang diiringi perilisan varian cover DC Comics Bombshells, namun pada perkembangannya Bombshells ini akan benar-benar diwujudkan dalam salah satu semesta DC Comics! Pada press release, Margueritte Bennet mengungkapkan:DC Comics Bombshells is one of the wildest things I’ve ever had the pleasure to create—a story of the DC heroines, all the DC heroines, in a crisis that defines themselves as well as their generation. I cannot possibly tell you how excited and grateful I am to be involved in a story this massive and inventive. The series will explore war stories, romances, mysteries, heists, action adventure, and horror in a way that only these characters could do—I cannot wait for this book to drop.
