[read_more id="235355"] Selama The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2015 yang berlangsung Desember 2015 lalu, Bandai Namco resmi mengkonfirmasikan Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, seri baru yang menjadi “upgrade” Tekken 7. Seperti seri sebelumnya, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution akan masuk Arcade dulu, yang berlangsung Juli 2016 nanti di Jepang. Kita yang berada di luar Jepang, memang masih harus bersabar lebih lama, karena selama E3 2016 dipastikan versi konsol dan PC Windows-nya nanti melalui Steam baru akan dirilis awal tahun 2017 mendatang. Namun yang melegakan, versi konsol ini langsung mengajukan semua update yang diberikan Bandai Namco melalui Tekken 7: Fated Retribution. Selain itu, mulai minggu depan kalian gamer Xbox One bisa mengunduh Tekken Tag Tournament 2 gratis sebagai baian game yang backward compatible, suatu fitur yang saat ini tengah gencar dibangga-banggakan Microsoft. Tekken 7 sendiri sudah eksis di Arcade Jepang sejak Maret 2015 lalu. Sebelumnya direncanakan gamer Amerika Utara dan Eropa bakal mendapatkan versi Xbox One, PlayStation 4 dan PC (melalui Steam) dari Tekken 7, sedangkan khusus untuk PS4, Bandai Namco dan Sony Computer Entertainment memberikan beberapa fitur khusus, seperti dukungan virtual reality menggunakan headset [read_more id="234194"] Bukan hanya Sony saja yang mendapatkan fitur khusus konsol untuk Tekken 7, Microsoft masih bisa menyelamatkan mukanya dengan bonus unduh gratis Tekken Tag Tournament 2 untuk pelanggan Xbox Live Gold, dan selama press conference E3 2016 Microsoft, diperlihatkan juga video lainnya yang memperlihatkan pertarungan antara Keihachi dan Akuma, yang sekaligus juga dihadiri oleh sang produser, Katsuhiro Harada. Dengan adanya dua game yang sebenarnya sama ini, Bandai Namco terbukti adil membaginya untuk kedua produsen konsol besar tersebut, dan keduanya sama-sama mendapatkan keuntungan eksklusif.
