Halo Combat Evolved Annivesary Review Round Up

Master Chief is back !! eits tapi bukan dengan Halo 4 dulu, melainkan dengan HD remastered dari game pertamanya. Apakah developer 343 membuatnya dengan baik? simak review - review nya disini

ComputerandVideoGames : Beautiful new HD mode courtesy of Saber Interactive and a solid combat model that works as well in 2011 as it did in 2001. 8/10 Official XBOX Magazine UK : The love that's gone into this HD remake makes it more than worth its budget price. If you've never checked out this series, don't get bogged down by details: Halo is about a big bloke shooting cool guns at cool aliens in cool places. Ten years later, that's still enough. 9/10 EDGE : It's a game that always feels tactical, and a game that - even now - has the capacity to surprise. Allegedly, Bungie resisted the subtitle, but it's as true now as it was then. It might be older, it might look younger, but this is still Combat Evolved. 9/10 Destructoid : At the end of the day, I think Halo: Anniversary is primarily designed for hardcore Halo fans. If you don't already own Halo: Combat Evolved or are still addicted to Halo: Reach, then I highly recommend getting Anniversary. The original Halo is available on Games on Demand for 1200 MS Points, and with the aforementioned map pack alone being sold for the same price, you're getting a lot for the value. 9/10 VideoGamer : Bungie's iconic title was clearly an ambitious project, and this modern remastering sufficiently highlights what it was that made the original Halo: Combat Evolved such a landmark gaming moment to begin with. With Halo 4 perched on the horizon, now is a perfect time to look back before the series heads forwards. 8/10 Joystiq : If you somehow managed to miss Halo the first time around (if you weren't alive yet, for example) Anniversary is an easy recommendation. For those who have repeatedly toppled the campaign: the enhanced graphics, online co-op, skulls, terminals and Library mode should go a long way toward freshening up your umpteenth play-through. Then again, if you only want to revisit the multiplayer, you can always pick up the Anniversary maps as $15 Reach DLC. Eurogamer : It makes for a curious game, and one that's as problematic as it is exhilarating. This is no longer Bungie's Halo, though much of what made the original so successful is here and intact. It's an awkward reinvention that manages to be at once faithful and a little wide of the mark. But such is the strength of Combat Evolved, this is still an Anniversary that's worth celebrating. 8/10 1UP : Anniversary edition is a collection of some of the best pieces of Halo. It revives a classic campaign that sports a fresh look. The multiplayer package adds classic maps into Reach's larger framework and re-enables classic CE behaviors for multiplayer fans to revisit the original, and even Kinect brings something unique to the table. B- Strategy Informer : In the end, Combat Evolved Anniversary is a strange package. Its campaign feels half hearted, neither fully remaking nor preserving the original game. The Reach multiplayer maps, while excellent, feel tacked on to the package to attempt to justify this being a full disc-based release. It is retailing for less than the price of a full retail game (it's less than £30 at most online U.K. retailers) but unless you really can't stomach the original's dated graphics, I'd strongly suggest skipping this and simply downloading the Anniversary map pack instead. Save that extra £20 for something more worthwhile. 6/10 Thanks to CVG
