For Jogjakarta, it is not the first time holding out a game jam event through Global Game Jam 214 (GGJ 2014). Several months ago, of course you still remember with similar event which is called Jogja Game Jam 48 Hours (JGJ48) held in Jogja Digital Valley. Jogja also becomes one of “pioneers” in holding out GGJ 2014 in Indonesia which is finally followed by seven cities. Besides Jogja, as we know GGJ is also held in Jakarta, Bandung, Depok, Semarang, Surabaya and Bali. How is the atmosphere of Global Game Jam 2014 Jogjakarta? Global Game Jam 2014 Jogjakarta is attended by around 28 people from total 65 jammers who are actually registered. This event  sponsored by Blackberry is also started with two Tech/ArtTalks as in other regions each of them is brought by Agro Rachmatullah (Meibi Studio) who presents theme “Building Studio Game in Japan” and Yogi Aditya (Hinocyber) who presents theme “Post Mortem: Kitaria Defense Online”. After the presentation, like in other regions, there are keynote video playing from GGJ 2014 center committee, plus announcement of GGJ 2014 theme which cannot be announced before last time zone in Hawaii starts. Afterwards, grouping starts with various members amount, from five participants, even there are participants who become “single fighter” a.k.a developing the game alone! Not only digital game is developed by participants but also there is also board game. One of the participants is Frida Dwi who is usually called UBe, one of “single fighters” in GGJ 2014 develops board game titled Pizza Lover which then changed into Pizza Trader.
